Jungle Love- With TTKR


I went to Tadoba National Park and stayed at Tadoba Tiger King Resort to come out and experience their adventure hideaway. I knew it would be fun, but had no idea just how much fun! My plus one, Aimee, and I immediately started planning the dates along with a flight from Mumbai to Nagpur. Tadoba National park is 120km from Nagpur Airport so we used a cab to make the 2 Hour trip from the Nagpur airport to the Tadoba Tiger King Resort.
Tadoba National park in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra state in India. It is largest and oldest National Park in Maharashtra.

The Tadoba National Park total area of the Park is 625.4 square kilometres. This includes Tadoba National Park which creates in 1955 with an area of 116.55 square Kilometer and Andhari Wildlife Sanctuary which is created in 1986 with an area of 508.85 square kilometres.
Tadoba reserve covers the Chimur Hills, and also the Andhari sanctuary covers Moharli and Kolsa ranges. It's delimited on the northern and the western side by densely forested hills. Thick forests are mitigated by smooth meadows and deep valleys as a result of the piece of land slopes from north to south. Cliffs, talus and caves provide refuge for several animals. the two forested rectangles are formed of Tadoba and Andhari range. The south a part of the park is less hilly.
In Tadoba National park there are 90 Tigers. Tadoba Tiger Reserve is home to other mammals, including Indian leopards, sloth bears, gaur, nilgai, dhole, striped hyena, small Indian civet, jungle cats, sambar, barking deer, chital, chausingha and honey badger. 195 species of birds are recorded, together with 3 species. The grey-headed fish eagle, the crested serpent eagle, and therefore changeable hawk-eagle are some of the raptors.

Moharli Gate: Moharli Gate is the old entrance to the park, which is located approximately 180 kilometres away from Nagpur.
Kuswanda: The kuswanda gate is 170 km away from Nagpur.

Kolara Gate: This gate is located at a distance 120 km away from the Nagpur and the number of jeeps allowed for tiger safari from this gate is 9 every morning and evening, therefore, eighteen rides are offered for the tourists during a day.
NaveGaon Gate: The distance from Nagpur to the gate is 140 km. The Tadoba national park authority permits the entry of six vehicles every morning and evening for tiger safari from this gate.

Pangdi Gate: The distance between Pangdi gate and Nagpur is 250 km. The number of vehicles allowed for tiger safari is two each morning and evening.
Zari Gate: Zari Gate is located at a distance of 190 km away from Nagpur and permits six vehicles each morning and evening for tiger safari therefore 12 rides of safari are available for the tourists in a day.

Our Room
A gorgeous flower and plant-filled walkway lead us to our room. The path through the grounds to our outside door was terribly lush and personal that add to the jungle atmosphere and intrigue.
Sleeping within the jungle and paying attention to all the numerous sounds was simply beautiful. I awoke typically throughout the night to pay attention and marvel. I managed to separate the decision of 1 animal, no plan what it had been and by listening rigorously I used to bready to distinguish concerning five terribly similar however totally different sound patterns. How cool is that? It was a beyond amazing experience for me.

HIGHEST 90 TIGERS SIGHTED IN 24 HOURS,TATR EMERGES, NUMERO UNO DURING WATERHOLE CENSUS IN VIDARBHA

Chandrapur: Volunteers relished the bumper sighting of tigers and other wildlife in four tiger reserves in Vidarbha as the weather held its composure during 24-hour waterhole census held on Buddha Purnima. Other than some hiccups reported at Navegaon Nagzira Tiger Reserve due flash rains and a solitary accident with volunteers on a machan, the waterhole census remained peaceful across Vidarbha. Field directors of all four tiger reserve told TOI that they had positive feedback from the enumerators as they returned excited with tales of sighting tigers and other wildlife from close range at the machans. Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve topped the chart with primary 59 sightings of tigers including cubs in core zone and 39 sightings of tigers and their cubs in the buffer zone. CLEANLINESS DRIVE PROPOSED AT TADOBA, TAJ

The ten popular sanctuaries which are selected for cleanliness drive also include Kanha tiger reserve in Madhya Pradesh. Other than Taj, Vaishno Devi is among the 10 iconic places with higher footfalls that will undergo cleaning on par with international standards. MINISTRY of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has decided to undertake cleanliness drive in 10 popular sanctuaries including Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve in Vidarbha region. Other locations include sanctuaries such as Coringa Wildlife Sanctuary (Andhra Pradesh), Gir Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park (Gujarat) and Flamingo Sanctuary (Thane). The Government has also identified Kanha (Madhya Pradesh), Nagarhole (Karnataka), Periyar (Kerala), Sariska (Rajasthan), Mudumalai (Tamil Nadu) and Jim Corbett (U’khand) tiger reserves.
